Easter is one of those weekends when you simply want to do something fun with your children. To get outside, eat something nice, try something new and above all: let them roam free.

This day, Noordoogst transforms into a big spring celebration, a place you can go to without a plan and end up staying for hours.

The market is filled with stalls offering local products and delicious bites. In between, all sorts of things happen. Kids run in every direction, looking for eggs, getting their faces painted or taking a ride on the swing carousel.

At 11:30 the children’s show Tique begins. Inside the circus tent, storytellers take them into a story they get completely absorbed in. Between activities there’s painting, wandering, or just discovering what else is going on.

Also fun: the small flea market where they can browse among toys and tiny treasures.

Meanwhile you’re somewhere with a coffee or something to eat and they’re not done for a long while.

Breakfast among goats — who could say no to that? At Ridammerhoeve you sit down to a full Easter breakfast with everything you can imagine, from fresh bread rolls to Easter eggs.

For children there’s a special menu with their own Easter roll, a little chocolate bunny, and a bottle to feed the lambs.

After eating, that’s when the real fun begins. Feeding the lambs, cuddling them, then heading off on an Easter treasure hunt around the farm. There’s something happening everywhere, and before you know it, they’ve run off again.

It’s the kind of place where you easily stay longer than planned.

A classic that works every year. As soon as the gates of De Vondeltuin open, children scatter in all directions.

Under bushes, behind trees, everywhere they search. Who will find the most, and who will be the fastest?

It all goes quickly, so being on time helps. Afterwards you can settle onto the terrace for an Easter breakfast or brunch while they keep exploring a little longer.

At the Mouse Mansion, Easter turns into one big treasure hunt. Everywhere among the tiny rooms, staircases and details, Easter eggs are hidden.

Children walk around as if they’ve stepped into a story. They search, look closely, and get distracted by all the other things to discover.

That’s exactly what makes it fun, looking turns into exploring.

Everything found? Bingo! Chances are they’ll want to go around again.

Between exploring the museum, take a seat and create something of your own. During this workshop, children make their own bag charm or keychain inspired by maritime knots.

First they watch how it’s done. Then they dive in, tying, retrying, and continuing until it’s just right.

In the end, they walk away with something they made themselves.

A show that grabs your attention right away — about a well‑mannered Lady and a free‑spirited dog who discovers the world his own way.

Kids sit on the edge of their seats from the start. They laugh, get caught up in the story, and follow it as if they’re right there themselves.

Playful and light, with just the right pace to keep everyone engaged all the way through.

Easter, but with a twist.

Here, children get hands‑on with eggs, fire, and experiments. They test how strong an egg really is, what happens when you treat it differently, and how to turn it into something completely new.

From etching with vinegar to printing patterns, everything revolves around trying things out for yourself and discovering what happens.

At Lowlander, Easter begins relaxed. You’re seated by the water in Amsterdam‑Noord, at a table full of food while the day slowly wakes up.

The brunch is generous, with more than enough to please everyone.

For children, there’s plenty to do. They go off in search of Easter eggs, return with chocolate, then disappear again to keep looking.
