Welcome to Playtix! These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our platform, including our website, applications, and all services we offer. 1. About Playtix


Playtix B.V. is a private company with limited liability under Dutch law, established in the Netherlands and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 96896361. Our official address is IJsbaanpad 2, 1076 CV at Amsterdam. You can reach us at hello@playtix.com. Playtix operates a digital platform where users can create accounts, purchase services, and buy tickets offered by external suppliers (“Suppliers”).

 
2. Applicability


These Terms apply to the use of our website and applications, to all orders placed through the platform, and to all functionalities of your Playtix account. Additional terms may apply to specific services. Where such additional terms deviate from these Terms, the additional terms take precedence. Any (general) terms that you may apply do not apply.

 
3. Use of Our Platform


The Playtix platform may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we have provided written permission otherwise. When using the platform, you agree to provide accurate information, comply with the law, and refrain from misuse. Misuse may result in suspension or termination of your account.

 
4. Your Account


When creating an account, you are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit, for keeping your password secure, and for all actions taken through your account. If you suspect misuse, you must inform us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

 
5. Orders and Payments


An order becomes final once we have confirmed it. All payments are processed through Stripe, a secure and internationally recognised payment provider. We do not have access to your full payment details; Stripe provides us only with the limited information needed for verification. Additional conditions may apply to certain tickets or services, which will be clearly communicated during the checkout process.

 
6. Prices and Availability


All prices on our platform include VAT unless stated otherwise. Although we strive for accurate and up-to-date information, errors or changes may occur. Playtix reserves the right to adjust prices, modify services, or cancel orders in the event of obvious mistakes or technical issues. If a paid order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

 
7. Cancellations and Refunds


Whether an order can be cancelled or modified depends on the type of product or service and the conditions set by the supplier. Some tickets are final and cannot be changed or refunded, while others offer flexibility. When refunds are possible, they are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

 
8. Our Responsibilities


We strive to provide a reliable, accessible, and secure platform. However, we are not liable for disruptions caused by external parties, force majeure situations, incorrect information provided by suppliers, or indirect damages such as financial loss. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned, unless mandatory law states otherwise.

 
9. Your Responsibilities


As a user, you must provide accurate and complete information, use your account securely, and comply with applicable rules, conditions, and guidelines. If your actions cause damage to Playtix or third parties, Playtix reserves the right to hold you liable.

 
10. Intellectual Property


All content on the platform—including texts, images, software, designs, and graphic elements—is protected by intellectual property rights and owned by Playtix or its partners. You may not copy, distribute, publish, or modify this content without prior written permission from us or our partners.

 
11. Privacy and Personal Data


We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 12. Cookies

13. Access to Services


We may change, expand, or restrict our services at any time. It may sometimes be necessary to take the platform temporarily offline for maintenance or other urgent reasons. We also reserve the right to block or delete accounts in the event of misuse or violation of these Terms.

 
14. Force Majeure


Playtix is not responsible for shortcomings resulting from circumstances beyond our control, such as failures by external parties, natural disasters, government measures, system outages, or other unforeseen events. After such a situation ends, we will do our best to restore our services as soon as possible.

 
15. Changes to These Terms


Playtix may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version is always available on our website. By continuing to use our platform, you agree to the updated Terms.

 
16. Governing Law


These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

 
17. Relationship with Suppliers and Ticket Use


Through our platform, you can purchase tickets and services offered by external suppliers. Playtix acts solely as an intermediary. Your order is forwarded directly to the supplier. Once the supplier accepts your request — typically almost instantly — an agreement is formed between you and the supplier.

Supplier conditions are largely covered by these Terms, but suppliers may impose additional requirements, such as required arrival times, dress codes, safety rules, insurance requirements, or the presentation of a valid ID. Where possible, we will display these additional conditions on the platform, in confirmation emails, or on the ticket itself.

Tickets purchased through our platform are for personal use only and may be used only by you, your family members, friends, colleagues, or travel companions. Resale is not permitted.

Additional on-site rules may apply, such as restrictions on photography or filming. When using the ticket, you must respect all rules set by the supplier.

If you have a complaint, please contact us directly with a clear description of the issue. We will try to work with you and the supplier to find a suitable solution, but we cannot guarantee refunds or changes if you selected the wrong date, time, or product, or if you are dissatisfied with the experience itself.

The statutory cooling-off period for online purchases generally does not apply to tickets for leisure activities tied to a specific date or usage period. Cancellation or modification is therefore only possible when explicitly indicated on our platform.

We will keep you informed about the status of your order via email and, if necessary, via SMS.

 
18. What You Can Expect from Playtix


We do our best to display clear, accurate, and up-to-date information about all tickets and services on our platform. Prices are shown per person and include taxes unless stated otherwise. In some cases, a supplier may charge additional (local) taxes.

We rank search results based on relevance, popularity, and (if applicable) availability on your selected date. We may also consider product profitability, provided this remains balanced with fair and transparent results.

Before you pay, we always show a complete overview of your order. If payment is not processed immediately — for example, due to an issue with a bank or payment provider — no agreement with the supplier is formed. Once payment is received, we confirm your order.

Suppliers have a maximum of 48 hours to deliver tickets. If they do not deliver within this period, the order is considered late, and you will receive a full refund.

We strive for accuracy, but errors may occur. If an error is not clearly recognisable as an obvious mistake, you may expect us to honour the listed price. You may only hold Playtix liable for damages arising from errors within our control and that we were aware of. We are not responsible for the experiential quality of a supplier’s offering, such as the artistic quality of a museum collection, nor for force majeure situations such as extreme weather conditions.

 
19. What Playtix May Expect from You


We expect you to use our platform in a careful and respectful manner. The information you provide — such as name, email address, and phone number — must be accurate and up to date. We need this information to process and deliver tickets correctly and to contact you when needed. Suppliers may require your information to grant access or verify your identity.

Our platform is intended for personal use. The resale of tickets is not permitted. If you are interested in a business partnership, please contact us.

The Playtix platform — including its technology, design, and content — has been carefully built by or for us. You may not copy, reproduce, or misuse the platform, in whole or in part.
