Disneyland® Paris has officially opened its newest expansion, World of Frozen. Along with this expansion, the resort’s second park received a new name. Walt Disney Studios Park is now called Disney Adventure World.
For anyone who grew up with Anna and Elsa or hears Let It Go on repeat at home, this is the place to be during the spring holidays.
Disney Adventure World
What was once Walt Disney Studios Park is now Disney Adventure World. Upon entering, guests walk along Adventure Way toward Adventure Bay, a large lake at the heart of the park. During the day it is peaceful for strolling, while later it becomes a stage filled with light, music and projections.
From this central point, guests can explore the park’s themed lands inspired by stories from Disney, Pixar and Marvel. Each area has its own atmosphere, attractions and encounters with well‑known characters.
The Kingdom of Arendelle
In World of Frozen, guests step right into the Kingdom of Arendelle. The wooden houses, the village square, the water and the view of the North Mountain with Elsa’s Ice Palace feel as if they have come straight from the film.
At the heart of the land is Frozen Ever After, a family‑friendly boat ride through familiar scenes featuring Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Music, lighting and effects bring the story of Frozen to life.
Several times a day, a performance takes place on the waters of Arendelle Bay, starring characters from Frozen, including a newly designed Olaf Audio‑Animatronic that moves in a remarkably lifelike way.
Inside the castle guests can meet Anna and Elsa, while throughout the village other characters appear as you explore.
More to Discover
Beyond Arendelle, Disney Adventure World also includes themed areas based on the worlds of Pixar and Marvel. In a future phase, an additional land inspired by The Lion King will be added.
