Doris Diver is an adventurous, maritime museum experience for families with children aged 2 and older. This narrative and interactive exhibition for the youngest museum visitors is now on display at the National Maritime Museum.

In this space, children aged 2+ — together with parents, caregivers, grandparents, friends, or babysitters — can explore the museum in a playful, accessible way and discover a love for water and the maritime world.

Join Doris on an imaginative journey from sea to land. At the bottom of the ocean, she finds a mysterious lamp that must be returned to the lighthouse. Along the way, she encounters all kinds of creatures and experiences fun, exciting, and educational moments. Families are invited to climb through barrels and boats, listen to a singing seaweed forest, build with elegant sea monsters, and much more!

Meet Doris and take a behind-the-scenes look at the work of illustrator Kwennie Cheng.

An admission ticket grants access to the entire museum, including Navigate by the Stars, The Whale Story, and a visit to the VOC ship Amsterdam.
